I’m a British ex-pat living and working in an ordinary street in an ordinary suburb of Lahore, Pakistan. I’m a commercial writer by trade and this is my way of getting into the habit of writing each day.

I live, think and work passionately…don’t do anything by half measures.

I appreciate intelligence, intellectual complexity and effort.  I like people, though I think that might be more on an individual case-by-case basis than collectively.   I don’t follow what’s easy.  Although I love good ghost stories, especially the classic ones, I don’t actually believe in them.

I have a sense of humour that does surface from time to time.  It may not be much of one, but at least its mine.
